EDUCATION AFTER KASHMIR

1. Joined Vincent Hill School, Mussories, U.P.(India) 2 years (1948– 1949)
2. Joined Ilford Cricklewood, London for apprenticeship in October 1950
3. Joined Guilford School of Arts & Crafts, Guilford, Surrey – 1951-1953 for a course in Photograph

BRIEF OUTLINE OF CAREER

Returned to India early 1954 – Joined the family business of MAHATTA PHOTOGRAPHY.  Introduced negative, positive colour printing for the first time in India.  Active in professional  photography  -    still going strong.

MARRIAGE, CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN

Married in May 1958. 3 Kids (2 Boys and 1 Girl)
Six Grand children – 2 Boys – 4 Girls (Oldest is 13 years – Youngest is 6 months)

EXTRA-CURRICULAR INTERESTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

An association of Professional Photographers namely “Advertising & Industrial Photographers Association of India” was formed in 1991  and elected as Chairman for the North chapter.
Taken part in many International Photo Competitions and won prizes.  Latest a New Zealand  Competition – called “MILK” in 1999.
